United We Stand

Despite all of the talk of divisiveness and antagonism from within, the United States will survive in noble fashion. The people have spoken - a clear victory for George W. Bush. This is what we will live with for the next four years. Moaning and groaning and predicting gloom and doom will not improve our lot. Talking divisiveness will promote divisiveness. Talking unity will promote unity. Over time all this will level out, as our attentions return to other issues, most notably our families, vocations, communities, football, holidays, etc... There are enough voices of reason in the government to curtail any attempts by the current administration to implement extreme or irrational policies. We have no choice but to rely on our elected representatives to do the best they can do to move forward. Keep the faith - believe in America.
